About Tasmanian Oak
Tasmanian Oak is the collective name given to three Eucalypt species which grow widely in the forests of Tasmania.
They are Eucalyptus Regnans, Eucalyptus Delegatensis & Eucalyptus Obliqua.
The material is produced from public and private forests - not from rainforests. Careful management ensures a continuing source of quality timber without damage to the environment. Coloured from pale straw to light pinkish brown, Tasmanian Oak can be enhanced with a variety of surface coatings. |

Range of Uses
Tasmanian Oak is a particularly versatile timber. It is ideally suited for flooring, panelling, architraves, skirting boards, cabinet and joinery doors and stairs. The natural warmth and beauty of Tasmanian Oak is prized by architects and designers as a featured timber in homes, offices, restaurants and shops. It is widely used for timber joinery and quality furniture. |

Tasmanian Oak doors are a favourite choice in kitchens where strength and beauty are paramount. Choose from traditional and country styles. A wide range of joinery door options are available
from entrance doors to internal screen and louvre doors.
All doors accept a wide range of surface coatings from hardwearing high gloss to soft subtle oil tones. Staining is not a problem either, for that 'special' effect. |

Laminated Tasmanian Oak consists of solid timber strips of one length which have been carefully selected, seasoned and bonded under controlled conditions and rigid quality specifications.
Attractive benchtops - so appropriate where a natural, stylish finish is desired. They mix and match so well with any other interior finish, be it brick, laminate products or plaster.
Exciting design options using laminated squares are available for many applications including posts, stair components and handrails. They are also suitable for turning. |
